Mobilgard 1 SHC from ExxonMobil was specifically developed to address the needs of distillate fueled, high reliability and high power concentration, diesel engines. Special synthetic base stocks and unique additive technology combine superior high temperature performance with unexcelled start-up reliability and wear protection. A true S.A.E. 40 grade, it flows at low temperatures like an S.A.E. 20W product. On very hot engine parts, it resists oil film breakdown better than S.A.E. 50 lubricants. Revolutionary load carrying additives also make it an outstanding wide temperature range gear lubricant.
